Donald Van Ornum DONALD R. VAN ORNUM, age 64 of Waseca, died at his home on Sunday, May 13, 2018. Born in LaMoure, ND on February 9, 1954, Don was the son of Claude and Louise (Lenzen) Van Ornum. He attended several schools as a young man before graduating from high school in Enderlin, ND. Over the years he worked for the railroad, as a house mover, drove a truck on a vending route, and he most recently worked as a handyman. He enjoyed flower gardening and antiquing. Don is survived by five siblings, Cleola Sauter of Moorhead, Clarence Van Ornum of Waseca, Linda (Bill) Lage of Cavalier, ND, Ruth (Ernie) Jesz of Bismark, ND, and Ron (Phyllis) Van Ornum of Augusta, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Raymond. A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Dennis Funeral & Cremation Services in Waseca, with Rev. Michael Behm officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour before the service at the funeral home. A private interment will take place in North Dakota at a later date. |
