Betty Jo Schuette

BETTY JO SCHUETTE, age 66 of Waseca, formerly of Waterville died on Friday, February 22, 2019 at her home in Waseca.

Born on March 8, 1952 in Faribault, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Norval and Mae (Seljeskog) Schuette.   She attended school in Waterville.   Betty was employed with Potential Unlimited for many years assembling and her favorite was placing UPC labels on parts for Genova as well as cleaning Waterville City Hall.   She loved listening to music and the radio, playing cards, crafts, and puzzle books.  She enjoyed cheering on the the MN Twins and attending their games.  She also enjoyed bird watching and watching TV.   Betty was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Waseca.

Betty’s family wishes to thank the staff at ICan House 3 and St Croix Hospice for their wonderful care, and Betty’s housemates, for being like sisters to her.

She is survived by her brother, Chuck Schuette of Owatonna; sisters, Sue (Randy) Wobschall of Waseca and Lori (Steve) Gehring of Waseca; sister-in-law, Candy Schuette of Kasson; aunt, Janette Byrne of Waterville; uncle, Dwain (Elaine) Schuette of Apache Junction, AZ; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.   She was preceded in death by her parents; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and David Heskett; and brother, Rich.
